Late September update

So, we're into September and the training is going ok -
Good things -
My running isn't quite a shitty as I thought it would be
My swimming is still good, and I'm actually enjoying being in the water
My strength is coming back - S & C sessions in the gym are ok, and my neck isn't in bits like it was in Jan / Feb / Mar etc etc etc

Bad tings -
Can't be bothered / find time to get on the bike, despite having the 12 hrs of Thetford coming up pretty soon.
Diet is still an issue (he says eating a sausage roll)

On the plus side, I had the best 10k in years last week - for 2/3 kms I was utterly in the zone. It felt good, my legs didn't hurt, I wasn't blowing out of my arse; and for the 1st time in a long time I actually felt like an athlete again.
